In addition to the release of watchOS 9, this week Apple also released a new beta, watchOS 9.1 beta 1 for the Apple Watch.
Now we get to see what will happen to your Apple Watch when the new watchOS 9.1 software update is released. The video below from Half Man Half Tech gives us a look at the new beta and its new features.
As we can see from the video, there are some new features in this new beta, although the majority of the new features have been released along with watchOS 9.
This included some additional features of the Fitness app as well as improvements to existing fitness programs on Apple Watch.
There are a bunch of new watch faces on the Apple Watch with the watchOS 9 software update, along with a few other new features.
The sleep tracking feature on the Apple Watch has been greatly updated, and this now comes with the ability to track Core, Deep, and REM Sleep. Previously, if you wanted to track these sleep patterns, you needed a third-party app.
Since this is only the first beta in the series, it will take some time before Apple releases the new watchOS 9.1 software update, and it may happen sometime next month. The new beta version of watchOS 9.1 is now available to download directly from the Apple developer site.
