Teams allows full chat threads to be displayed in message search results

There is one thing about him Microsoft Teams We all hate: search results. Imagine that you are searching for a specific search only to find that specific text. There is no context at all. This will make you think about the previous conversation that led to such words or responses that follow that text. Microsoft fixes it for us… at last!

However, note that this change is yet to come. Instead, the feature will arrive with ID number 97510 in the Microsoft 365 roadmap in October of this year. Microsoft added it on August 31 and will soon be available for Windows and Mac Teams users. It’s not the biggest news for Teams, but the arrival of the said feature will make using the messaging app more comfortable, especially for those who often visit their threads for references.

Microsoft describes it on a page roadmap page. “This fix will now direct users to the full conversation thread by simply clicking on the message search result, thus providing the full context of the conversation around the message result.”
