How to delete Google search history – protect your privacy

Wondering how to delete Google search history? You are not alone, our Google search history has become almost sacred. For many, this level of privacy is to be expected, although few realize how much information they willingly handle. Privacy is no longer guaranteed, but we must protect it at all costs.

Your Google history can contain everything from your location information and medical conditions to other potentially embarrassing personal details like family problems and debt relief. For me, I’m so concerned about all the words I need to Google when writing to make sure they’re spelled correctly (if only my editors knew).

Regardless of your reason for wanting to delete your Google search history, you should plan to do so semi-regularly. There is no good reason to keep years of search data in a central location. It is a good practice, for security and peace of mind, to delete these searches at periodic intervals.
