Apple is introducing a lot of new capabilities to the Photos app this year with iOS 16. There’s a much-welcome new shared iCloud Photo Library feature (some early bugs with the public launch), a background remover, a photo duplicate tool, and more.

Edit photos on iPhone: How it works in iOS 16

  1. Running iOS 16, open the Photos app on your iPhone
  2. choose a picture, Click Edit In the upper right corner
  3. Make your own adjustments, and Choose Done In the lower right corner
  4. Now press Three-dot icon In the upper right corner
  5. Faucet Copy edits
  6. Choose the back arrow to see all your photos
  7. Faucet Choose in the upper right corner and choose all the images you want to paste into your edit
  8. Click on Three-dot icon In the lower right corner
  9. Choose Paste edits
